| Tetanus
Hi there. I'm looking for advice because I am currently on vacation in Israel and many clinics here don't see privately-insured patients.
The situation: I have a small flesh wound (not deep) under my index finger on my palm. I grazed it yesterday on a car seatbelt that had rust on it.
I called my doctor and found out my last tetanus shot was in 2004. I'm definitely overdue for a booster vaccination, and though my doctor said thr situation wasn't concerning, I don't know whether I should get vaccinated here in Israel or wait 5 more days until I'm back in the States. I'm having anxiety over whether the situation is truly concerning or not so I decided to post here and hear other people's thoughts.
