| Scared to do more vaccinations
My daughter is now 16 months old, and she has not had any vaccinations since she was 9 months old. Shortly after, she developed several food allergies (wheat, egg white, peanut, dairy and oats), and is now possibly allergic to amoxicillin. She also has several other sensitivities like severe eczema and polymorphic light eruption (a reaction to the sun). She got atopic dermatitis from disposable diapers and we switched to cloth. I started researching what is in vaccines to see if there was anything she is allergic to (like some have egg). Frankly, I am terrified that she will have an allergic reaction, or something worse. I am starting to think some of them cause more harm than good. However, my husband would have a fit if I told him that. So would her pediatrician. I am torn between being scared to give them to her and scared not to. Am I just being overly paranoid here?
