Chickenpox

I am infected with Chickenpox. But the rest of my
family, wife, 2.5yrs old son and 8 mth old Daughter,
have not. I do not want to infect them. I am staying
in my Grandpa's house at the moment. My question are:

1. When I get well, I will stay again with my family
but the things, clothes, electronics, that are with me
right now might have the virus on it. How do I
steralise the virus so that they will not be infected
if they touch the things that we with me right now.

2. Is the virus airbourne

Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon.

Re: Chickenpox

Hi there, I saw your post although it's probab;y to late.

To answer your questions , YES chickenpox is airborne.
Disinfect toys or items with a solution of water and bleach, just dilute the bleach in water and spray or wipe hard items down. Soft items you can wash in hot water or washing machine.

Good Luck

Re: Chickenpox

Chances are that your family was already exposed. They probably were healthy enough to have no symptoms, yet still get the immunity from the disease.
