My flu shot was 10/26, 5+ months after rotator cuff surgery in that arm. Within 2 days, the entire shoulder capsule was inflamed, and the pain got so bad I requested a steroid injection in the shoulder and was given a prescription for Percocet. My surgeon sent me back to physical therapy, and, at first, I could barely move my arm, even with the aid of a pulley! I'm starting to get some movement back but the shoulder is still very tight and the muscles aren't functioning very well. Will I ever recover from this?????????
