| Re: Pneumonia vacine severe reactions
Highly doubt it was a severe reaction to the shots..it does not match up at all. Do you routinely check your white count?
White counts can be high for a few things, cancer is one, but you have had that ruled out. Things like Chronic infections/ digestive diseases/ parasites/ oxygen/ virus' (bacterial, viral, fungal)/ an immune response/ Eclampsia/ Gout/ Rheumatoid arthritis/ Rheumatic fever/ Acute stress/ Thyroiditis/ Trauma/ Chronic bacterial infection/ Infectious hepatitis/ Infectious mononucleosis / Lymphocytic leukemia/ Multiple myeloma/ Chronic inflammatory disease/ Parasitic infection/ Tuberculosis/ Hodgkin's disease (and more, sorry getting a little tired typing)
Um there are also Five types of white blood cells, also called leukocytes, that normally appear in the blood:
Neutrophils
Lymphocytes (B cells and T cells)
Monocytes
Eosinophils
Basophils
Find out which type your high in, as it would point your doctor in a direction to look for underlying problems.
