 Vaccinated but not immune? How is this possible?
I have never had chicken pox, so last year when I started planning to have a baby I went in for the chicken pox vaccine, and repeated it, I think a month later. I had no reaction or side-effects. I have recently had new bloodwork, which shows that I am not immune to varicella (chicken pox). How is this possible? Now if I get pregnant, I am going to constantly worry about being infected, especially around children. Can anyone explain how this could happen?
