Question Vaccinated but not immune? How is this possible?

I have never had chicken pox, so last year when I started planning to have a baby I went in for the chicken pox vaccine, and repeated it, I think a month later. I had no reaction or side-effects. I have recently had new bloodwork, which shows that I am not immune to varicella (chicken pox). How is this possible? Now if I get pregnant, I am going to constantly worry about being infected, especially around children. Can anyone explain how this could happen?

Do your research on vaccines.....not ONE vaccine is 100% effective, not one.

Exactly. Even though I was vaccinated against mumps as a child, I still ended up getting it. Unfortunately, any vaccine is a crapshoot. There's still a chance of contracting whatever illness you are vaccinating against, which sucks, but it's true.
