Unadjuvented vs adjuvented H1N1

Due to a shortage of vaccines in canada they have now announced they are getting more to vaccinate everyone HOWEVER they are the unadjuvented doses which concern me since the chances of still getting H1N1 are higher by taking that dose. I want the most protection i can get. I am not highly informed on this "adjuvent" thing and i know the ingredients are safer BUT i want the most protection. They say 6 out of 10 getting the unadj. are protected whereas 9 out of 10 with the adj. are protected...now does that mean these stats are they won't catch it or if they do it won't be as severe? if anyone can give me info on this that would be good...i don't need info on this vaccine being safe or not tested or the "bad: ingredients or people against this shot i JUST want to know the info on the stats i have read about in the 2.

Re: Unadjuvented vs adjuvented H1N1

According to the information that I have read, those doses containing an adjuvent are recommended for people in the "at risk" category because the adjuvent boosts their immune response and therefore increases the effectiveness of the vaccine. The unadjuvenated doses are apparently just as effective for people who do not have a medical condition that puts then "at risk".
In Europe, the vaccine is currently only being offered to "at risk" people so the adjuvenated version has been supplied to doctors only from the start of this month.
