Fear of Vaccines?
 

How would you go about getting a 21 year old over a severe fear of getting shots? The fear is to the point now where it is actually affecting his life, he declined an offer to a college program because the program had a mandatory immunization list. Any ideas?

Valium maybe??? Seriously, talk to the doctor about this and ways to handle it. But a valium is often prescribed for people like this. Or he could go thru a psychiatrist for help with it. It did that with a fear of bridges. I still have it but I managed to attend an event that I truly needed to attend but which would require me to drive a bridge over the MS River after midnight (i could go over on the ferry but it shut down for thenight before I would be going back). I also did it with swimming for adults so I could thru the course as I am terrified of my head being under water. It's just another option.
