I'm not a fan of creatine, though I took it extensively for 7 years.
That having been said, creatine works. No doubt about it. If you do use it, do a cycle of a month on, a few weeks off.
I would stay away from fat burner products and the like, especially when also using creatine.
I don't know the specifics of Hydroxycut, but I imagine it is a super-caffeine pill and diuretic. As cramping is a major potential side-effect of creatine use, coupling it with another supplement like that can compound the problem.
I was working out one day when a guy in the gym had his arms and legs cramp up at the same time. He was using creatine and a fat burner together and he got dryed out. Not a pretty sight.
I'd stick with the basics. Work out hard and pay a lot of attention to nutrition by eating whole, natural foods. 6'6", 225 is a good weight, but I'd concentrate on turning that leftover bodyfat into muscle, not necessarily losing weight by getting cut.
Gotta have that big body to bang around in the post.
Good luck to ya.
