After workout i drink a sports drink for carbs, and then take my whey protien shake..
after about 20 minutes....
Is this a good way of giving the body what it wants after a hard workout.....within 5 minutes of the workout, i drink a sports drink ( lucozade sport here in the uk), and then after about 20-30 minutes after ( thats how long it takes for me to get home from the gym) i take my whey protien shake.....
if i do this i dont feel sore or lethargic. i have been training for about a month now, and my muscle mass has increased with the whey...
is it carbs before protien or the other way round...i am 80% sure that after a strenuos workout its carbs before protien...Then again i may be wrong...
My aim is to increase lean muscle mass...
