You can take a complete amino acid supplement, commonly found in vitamin stores. Or drink protein smoothies if calories aren't a factor. A very good multi-vitamin and mineral is necessary. And a strong B-Complex. Maureen Salaman addresses hair loss in her health book. She went from limp and fine to full and thick on a certain regimen. I did it too years ago, but am not remembering all the details at the moment. However I did take the aforementioned supplements, and not only does it work, but my nails, normally brittle, got harder. (Nails need extra protein, too).
