I found a bottle of the B-Complex in my cabinet. It looks as if it's kinda old. The label on it is turning yellowish, but there are a lot of pills left. How long can vitamins last?

The cabinet is in the kitchen and my house can get hot, so I dont know if the vitamins will be effective or not.

How can I tell?

First of all look at the lable and it should have an expiration date somewhere on the lable. This would be your clue as to whether or not they are good. Since the lable is yellow I would assume it is best to pitch them though. Medications do not tolerate heat or moisture very well. Most medications also have a store between this degree and that degree of temperature so that also can be a guidline.
