i need to take a multi vitamin to help my leg cramps and spasms. i dont know why vitamins help me but they do. ive been taking a multi vitamin for women called one daily a rite aid brand. the problem is theyve been giving me terrible diarhea and gas pains. i stop taking them for a few days and i feel better but then my legs start to ache. so i would pop another vitamin only to end up on the bowl a few hours later. so i tried something else, my daughters bugs bunny vitamins, i was surprised to see the same dosages of vitamins except it was lower in iron which i dont mind anyway they give me bad periods. the childrens vitamins helped a little bit but i did feel one gas pain this morning. what else could i take to help my leg cramps and charlie horses other than vitamins? or is there a mild stomache friendly vitamin out there? p.s i wont take herbs i think they are dangerous
I would try another brand. Vit. C can cause diarhea, but you'd have to take "a lot" of it, though. There's many, many, brands of multi's out there just try some different ones till you find one that your satisfied with.

Vitamin K is Not potassium!!!! It is a vitamin necessary blood clotting ---it's needed for production of probthrombin----has to do with blood clotting. It is also necessary for bone repair and bone formation.
