Agree with suggestion to take a good multi vitamin and jen's suggestion on astragalus and siberian ginseng. Note that due to new labelling laws "siberian ginseng" is now turning up labelled as Eleutherococcus or Eleuthero for short. I personally find that Eleuthero is a very trustworthy energy provider, but you must be patient with it. It may take a few weeks to really kick in, but once it does, it has a great effect of keeping you energized without compromising your sleep. I recommend 6-7 capsules per day, a few in the morning and then in the afternoon on an empty stomach if possible. There is also a good but expensive extract product called Sibergin, of which you only need 1-2 capsules/day. I would advise steering clear of regular caffeine consumption as well.
