I used to suffer from depression, but no longer! I tackled mine with a better diet. The two major neurotransmitters involved in preventing depression are serotonin and norepinephrine. Both of these need proper care. Serotonin is coverted from the amino acid L-tryptophan and Norepinephrine is converted from L-Phenylalanine. An appropriate diet for Serotonin would be 500mg L-tryptophan, 50mg B6, 1000mg Vitamin C, and 500mg Niacin, the same holds true for Neropinephine only substituting the L-tryptophan with L-tyrosine. Luckily you can find all the vitamins, minerals and amino acids you need to care for these neurotransmitters in a multivitamin called "SEA SILVER". I've been taking this product for 7-8 months now, with fantastic results. It's also a good idea to stay away from sugar, alcohol, white flour and rice, these foods take away to many vitamins for processing and give nothing back to the body. Foods you should be eating included, AMIO ACID SUPPLEMENTS!!, raw and steamed vegetables, fruit, brown rice, beans, skinless chicken, turkey, and fish. Fish oil is also great.
Life is so much better when you eat healthy!
