I'm 56 year old and take 60 mg of zinc daily. 30 mg of this is in a multiple vitamin that also contain copper and calcium, the other 30mg of zinc is in ZMA. I been doing this over a year now and have not been sick any. I guess my imune system is pretty good. I said ever day but I do miss a couple days a week taking 60mg of zinc. I have read that a man could take up to 90mg of zinc a day and not be at risk of the copper and calcium absorption problem. I could back off and get a multiple vitamin that contains only 15 mg of zinc, so my total then would be 45mg of zinc. Hey, I beleive in the ZMA, ant quiting that stuff. What you think? is 60 too much or should I back off the 45 mg of zinc?
