Vitamin E and Asthma???

Have any of you heard about a study in which they increased the intake of vitamin E to help get rid of sports induced asthma?? If so can you tell me anything you know about it .

All I can remember about it was it was a study done on Olympic athletes that were not aloud to compete because their inhaler was a form of a steroid. So they went on Vitamin E and a very high % of them were cured of their SPORTS INDUCED asthma.

Any info would be great!! Thanks!!~~Kim

Re: Vitamin E and Asthma???

You have nothing to lose, so try it! As an athlete, I had sports induced asthama aka reactive air-way disease, but grew out of it during my college years. Personally, I have never heard of this study. Generally, you grow out of sport induced asthama.
