Ginseng Side Effects?? - Vitamins & Supplements Message Board

Hi,

I have been taking these supplements called High ENER-G triple ginseng formula. They are 200mg tablets I have been taking once a day. (available at CVS). I am not sure but in the last few days I have developed bad headaches, breast soreness, muscle and joint pains etc. Could these be a side effect of the Ginseng? I started thinking I might be pregnant but that is pretty unlikely right now... HELP!!!

It's highly possible. My husband took some ginseng one day and the next day told me to get rid of it cause it made his heart pound and gave him a headache. I took some and the next day I had a weird ache in my neck.I also noticed weird things when I starting taking evening primrose.Stop taking it and see if it goes away.

It is possible. Ginseng gives me heart palpitations. It is a stimulant.
