I really need something. I am 29 and have no energy. I feel tired all the time although I go to bed about 9 or so at night. I have 4 kiddos so I need the extra boost. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey, kinda the same situation as my 38-yo wife. She has done better with a more powerful multi-vitamin with minerals. Ensure it has a lot of B-vits (well over 1000% USDA - USDA is old and is a minimum. Maximums are very high - just stay withing 1000 - 6000%). Also, consider drinking up to 50g protein shakes every day. Many, many women don't get enough protein from their diets, and proteins are the starting point of the endochrine system (your hormones), which controls just about every part of your body. Whey isolate or concentrate are the best. Try a vitamin shoppe, vitamin world, GNC, or other source. I'm paying a little under 2c per gram (yeah, sounds silly, but I don't like to spend more than necessary) for Optimum Nutrition (ON)'s powder in a 5lb jug. Don't drink it with a meal, as your body can only handle 35g at a time, but drink it as a between meal snack. I mix mine with milk and love the taste (chocolate).
Hi-I have to walk anywhere from 6 to 8 hours everyday for my job reading meters and take one triple-formula Ginseng that I got at Costco. I am very happy with the results and know it is not just my imagination that it works.
Another thing that gives me energy (outside of the obvious caffeine boost which should be in extreme moderation) is, believe it or not, Sleepytime Tea from Celestial Seasonings. I know it's really weird but I wonder if there are others like me that get a boost from this tea. Anyone?
A good multi vit/min.every day should help. Also, you should get your iron levels checked, you might have low iron. I also recommend taking a tablespoon or 2 of a Green Foods powder. It's powdered Wheat Grass, spirulina, alfalpha, and a bunch of other "super green foods". It's a great super anti-oxident. I mix mine with V-8 juice to cover up the taste. Try getting at least 30 min. of aerobic activity in each day as well, if you're not already. It's great to boost circulation and clears the mind of the "morning fuzzies".
No i do not think that caffine pills work well. In fact in my country i tried to find caffine pills in the pharmacy they actually doesn't sell it on the shelf. What happens is you may be addicted to it or may suffer insomnia if u accidentally overdose on it. This is my guess only. But i do think that you can try vit B1, B2 and B6. I take these and also supplemented with B-complex as the B-complex i took have very little amt of B6 only 1mg. And i have heard of B6 as very impt vitamin to give u energy boost. You can try gingko biloba. Natural help like excercising, mediatation, sleeping quality sleep helps too. Sleeping enough hours and sleeping quality sleep are different. I may sleep 8 hours but if i wake every 2 hours to pee or the temperature is too hot or cold, how good can i feel in the morning?
Good luck.
Hi, i feel that Rhodiola Rosea works best for energy, mood & concentration focus. Vitamin b12 & a good multi-vitamin will make you feel perfect with the RR.

I tried Rhodiola Rosea from Vitamin World for a few days and found that it seemed to affect my sleep. I just had a real hard time staying asleep and didn't sleep well. I do normally fall asleep the minute my head hits the pillow, and only wake up to go to the bathroom, only to fall right back to sleep. So, with the change in my sleep corresponding to the Rhodiola Rosea, I stopped taking it.
