Will taking calcium at night....

keep you awake? I've heard it should be taken at night before bedtime.

No, absolutely not. In fact, I've taken it in the middle of the night before to relieve leg cramps and it didn't affect my sleep in the slightest.

I heard that its best to take it at night, so it can flow through your body while your asleep, which is when your body does most of its recovery.

No, infact it is supposed to relax you at night. I take 2 calcium with minerals (not carbonate) with a b-12 and usually sleep good.

Actually, people who are deficient in calcium tend to have insomnia. You should sleep even better taking it at night....
