| Re: Some ?? on green tea and wheat grass
i have been drinking green tea for about 1 year and a half and i have not been sick with a cold or anything. i know that green tea contains polyphenols, antioxidants, beta carotene and other powerful vitamins that boosts the metabolism, immune system, helps prevent heart disease, cancer, and ultimately, is good at attacking the free radicals in your body that contribute to aging which generally neutralizes them. i know from drinking the tea myself that i have better mental clarity and i hardly ever get sick. i used to get sick at least once a year by the way. caffinated or decaf is something that i would think that there wouldn't be a difference. i do know that caffenated green tea is what helps boost the meatabolism and another benefit is green tea actually helps digest carbohydrates better after for example, eating pasta, so you don't get that huge insulin spike. green tea has so many benefits. to sum it up it is known to contribute to longevity. btw, i always drink caffenated green tea, it has 30mg of caffeine compared to 100 in coffee. very little. hope this helps!! i think i'l go have a cup now.
