Re: DHEA and how to take it
Last year, I tried 750mg tribulus/day and didn't notice anything. This spring, I've been going with 1g/day and that has done the trick! It helps me desire sex more than without it, which is what libido is all about anyway. If I'm feeling especially tired, or worn out from my running, I'll pop a viagra the evening we're supposed to get physically intimate, but I take the tribulus daily. I even noticed a decrease in libido a day after missing taking it. Came back the next day when I took it again.
As far as the DHEA, I don't really know that I've noticed a difference. I'm in the process of stopping it for a few weeks, just to see if I notice a difference. I'm down to 25mg a day, from 50+. Slowly decreasing the amount in case my body needs to make up for it. (I had read something about cycling hormonal supplements...) I'm 41 and my testosterone was 470 1.5 yrs ago before taking any supplements, and 510 1 year ago after I had been taking protein shakes but had stopped all tribulus, etc herbs and DHEA a month before that appointment.
