coconut oil

Theres been alot of hype on the internet about coconut oil lately.. supposed to help thyroid and help you lose weight mostly. Has anyone taken and found it be worth it? Do you think coconut milk has the same effect? I'm worried it might just end up being empty calories.

I spoke with a nutritionist this past Firday. The first thing he told me to take was Coconut Oil. Not only does it help with weight, it helps with infections, cleaning the system and its good for hair and skin. I have only been on it for 2 days so its too early to tell if it is working. Coconut milk doesnt have the same effect i was told. I can tell you that it doesnt smell or taste very good. You have to put in into a protein shake or smoothie type drink to mask the taste. You can also cook with it. I havent tried that yet, but will soon! Good Luck! Hope I have helped some.

i have the capsules but i take it off and on,not sure of the diffference. I do notice when i take it (not to be too graphic)my bowels are looser. i assume thats why. i have to start taking it more though if it helps alot of things..i took it for weight loss. not sure how good it worked in that dept though
