i recently started taking a super B complex vitamin everyday..and i realized i am much less stressed, and my panic attacks have disappeared, and overall i feel much better..can it be just from the vitamin?
Could be! Could also be a natural progression, or a bit of a placebo affect... but the B vitamins, B-12 in particular, are supposed to be quite helpful with anxiety problems. I take a B vitamin supplement daily for my OCD and have noticed some improvement since starting it as well.
yeah for a while i was having alot of problems with anxiety, and i just realized i havent had a panic attack in a while and iv'e been sleeping much better
I would also suggest taking inositol (buy the crystallized version - the others are filled with fillers and don't work the same. I found this out.) A good one is Twinlab inositol in capsules. Inositol is very good for panic attacks.
I have suffered from panic attacks for a very long time off and on. With no rhyme or reason to them. I recently got diagnosed with a thyroid disorder called hypothyroidism. If ever you start to feel super tired all the time and just not yourself, you may want to get blood work done.
Check out the Thyroid Disorder Board and see if you may have any other symptoms.
Niacin helps to prevent the body from forning too much adrenaline, when your body makes too much adrenaline you percieve this as panic, since when you are feeling panic for a real cause your body makes adrenaline to help you deal with the situation. If you find that your panic attacks aren't completely taken care of by the vitamins that you are taking now, you might try upping the amount of niacinamide (non flush form) along with the rest of what you are taking.
