I've been having a major problem with hair breakage lately. I've had a little bit of a problem for a while but lately my hair is a disaster. It it constantly breaking off and I don't really understand why. I brush it with a wide tooth comb, condition regularly, and use a leave in conditioner. I do wear my hair in a ponytail a lot but that's not the only area it's breaking off in. I have long straight hair so it's very easy to see all these broken off fly aways. I've been thinking about taking vitamins lately because I think that might be part of the problem. I definetly don't get enough vitamins because I really don't eat much at all... lunch and dinner. I'm also on birth control... I hear this can cause hair thinning but can it actually cause my hair to break off? What vitamins can promote healthy hair growth? Would a multi like One A Day Women's help at all?
