Great results with sublingual Vitamin B-12!!

Okay, if someone would have told me about this option to take Vit.B-12 and the terrific results, I would have been my usual pessimistic self. Always tired, dragging around, even memory and concentration problems for so long and was taking B-100's all along too.

Then I found out about the fact that B-12 does not absorb well taken by tab, in fact we lose about 90% of whatever we take that way. Shots were the best but who wanted to do that daily? I read that B-12 can actually become a deficiency around middle age and after that we begin to show signs of it in a major way, especially energy and those mental skills that become sluggish. It effects our heart as well and our lipid levels.

I purchased a 30 day supply of sublingual(dissolved under the tongue) Vitamin B-12, 1000 mcg. which also contains 400 mcg.folic acid, 5 mg. Vitamin B-6 and 25 mcg. Biotin. This tab is absorbed immediately into my system for the best results.

That was almost 3 months ago and even by 1 month there was a big difference in this lazy person. I know my mental capabilities across the board are enhanced, like a veil has been lifted. I swear even my vision seems clearer. My husband actually said to me the other night, "when are you going to just sit down and stop already" and it was almost 10. I was ironing!

Add to that, I have lost 12 lbs. That was the bonus. Don't know if it has anything to do directly with B-12 but maybe the increased activity.
I know I can't post the name of the product. I saw a commercial for it, one of those infomercials. Since the husband and wife were well known to me as a reputable couple who were hosting the product, I purchased it. All I know is that a Dr. Libby formulated it. It cost $23.99 the first time and as a member, it is $19.99 thereafter. It is worth every penny....

Re: Great results with sublingual Vitamin B-12!!

Had to comment quickly on your post. I'm practically out the door to work but saw it and needed to reply. My daughter (age 33) has been disabled and unable to work since late March. She's seen several neurologists and been referred here and there --- it just seems to go on and on. She has ataxia and speech is rather slurred and stuttery. This has gone on for months. A neurologist in Rochester that she was referred to did some bloodwork; among other things was testing for Lyme Disease. He got back to us with the results a couple weeks ago and there was no Lyme, but she has a vitamin B12 deficiency that's significant enough to have cause these problmes. That's the good news. The bad news is that he doesn't know if she'll get any of her deficit back. But we'll see. She began B12 shots last week. They scheduled her for another next month. I had thought more frequently would be the protocol since she has such severe symptoms. Bottom line is, I think you're very fortunate to discover this deficiency before it became severe because it can cause so many other problems. Her memory at the beginning was bad and that was one of the first real problems to put her off work. That was before her speech and gait were affected. She's a nurse and the memory thing just wouldn't cut it! Good luck to you.

Re: Great results with sublingual Vitamin B-12!!

In answer to your question, she is NOT vegetarian but has suffered for about two years with constant, chronic diarrhea which was diagnosed last year as ulcerative colitis. She was under evaluation for Crohn's, celiac disease, and other malabsorption syndromes but the ulcerative colitis is what they came up with. I believe there's some connection between the two. The constant diarrhea perhaps depletes the body's supply of B12 or makes it impossible for it to be absorbed into her system - I'm really not sure how it works. I don't pretend to understand it all. I hope this clears up the confusion. It seems to be backed up by what I've read so I took it at face value.
