Fish oil giving me stomach probs? - Vitamins & Supplements Message Board

Started taking fish oil, 2 - 825 or 1000 mg. capsules per day. I was using enteric coated capsules. When I ran out, I got the same brand oil but skipped coated version. Now I'm taking 3-1000 mg. per day, (weigh 250) for about 3-4 days. Seems like I now am getting stomach cramps or ache. Anybody ever experience this symtom with fish oil?

I JUST had this conversation with my pharmacist yesterday. He use to use fish oils but it started to bother his stomach so he now uses the flaxseed oil.

Thanks for reply. I'm going back to coated fish oil capsules for now.
