The side effects of creatine are: Increase in muscle, increase in strength, increase in speed, increase in jumping ability, increase muscle recovery, increase muscle protein synthesis, increase short term memory retention, increase recovery from muscle, ligament, and tendon injuries, and an increase in athletic performance overall.
Every speculation about the negative side effects of creatine have been disproven over and over again in every experiment they have done on creatine. There is not a shred of scientific evidence anywhere that concludes creatine causes kidney/liver damage, muscle cramps/tears, or dehydration. Important to note that creatine is the most widely and heavily tested supplement ever and has been around for over two decades. Any claim to its negative effects has no scientific base.
