Flaxseed (oil) is a good omega-3 fatty acid and works well for some people but it doesn't have EPA and DHA which are the healing molecules of the omega-3's. In order to get these from flax its omega-3's have to be converted from a 18 carbon long fat to a 20/22 carbon long fats (EPA/DHA) and this done by the ''Delta-6 Desaturase'' enzyme which doesn't work very well in a lot of people ....so the answer is to take fish oils which are aready converted and already have EPA/DHA ......
