If your taking aminos for specific health reasons and not for general protein pool consumption always separate them. When i work out in the mornings i'll take Tyrosine and Glutamine but i always separate them 30 min apart or they'll interact and possibly change the desired out come. Look at Creatine its made up of Arginine, Glycine, and Methionine as individuals these do different things but combined they now for a new protein i.e. Creatine.....
