I tried it for anxiety which it is suppose to help but it didn't help me. It can do weird things to your blood pressure so watch out for that. Have you tried SAMe or St. John's Wort, or both together? SAMe worked well for my depression last year. I took 200mg twice a daily but some people take 400mg twice daily and some take 200mg 3 times daily. You have to play with it and find what works. It worked quickly and no side effects. Also, omega 3 fish oils help with depression and Vitamin B complex - plus their good for you! I took them with the SAMe and it was better than paxil for me
