Need advice - Vitamins & Supplements Message Board

I just recently began a vitamin/supplement program and was feeling great, but then I started having stomach and intestinal problems. Can anyone tell me which ones I should stop taking?

Garden of Life Primal Defense-1 each morning and bedtime
Natures Way Alive multi-3 daily
Source Naturals digestive enzymes-with each meal
A.C. Grace vitamin E-3 with breakfast
Natural Factors RX Omega 3 factors-2 a day

I did a lot of research on line to find the best supplements and now I'm getting really discouraged. Thank you for any help or information you can give me.

What kind of stomach problems are you having? If you're going to the bathroom more frequently that's a good thing. Are you having stomach pains or acid reflux?

Yes I am going to the bathroom more often, and I am having stomach and gas pains. Also except for the Primal defense I always take supplements with food.

Did you start taking all these vitamins at the same time? If so, you might try starting with one, see if it causes the problems you mention, and if not go on to the next one, etc. I no longer take Primal Defense but I seem to remember you are supposed to start slow with that one and build up to the recommended dosage.

Thanks for the advice. I did start taking them all at once. I will start over and try taking one thing at a time and let my body adjust. Today I only took the vitamin E and multi, and my stomach was much better. When I start back on the primal defense I will only use one for a while.
