I took it for sleeping problems. Didn't work for me but neither did valium which is the medical form. I found out later that for tea to be effective for insomnia it is recommended that four tea bags be infused in a cup or hot water and allowed to steep for ten minutes. I was only using one.
Any herbal pills you have to take for at least 2-3weeks for it to build up in your system inorder to see results. I am not sure about the length of time for tea but I drank it for 2 weeks but nothing put me to sleep.
I didn't find much change in my moods throughout the day while taking it.
Is one expected to drink this tea NIGHTLY in order for it to work? I would be concerned about becoming addicted to it,and, eventually, not being able to sleep without it!
