I take several different vitamins/supplements. I never know if I'm getting the most out of them, though, as I ususally take them in one big handful after eating breakfast in the morning. Does anyone know if pairing certain vitamins negates (or diminishes) their nutritional value, if they should be taken throughout the day as opposed to all at once in the morning, or if some are better being taken before bed?
I take a multi-vitamin (food based), vitamin A (as beta carotene), folic acid, vitamin E, selenium, a B-complex, and indole-3-carbinol (jeesh is that it?? haha). Anyone have any suggestions?
Sorry for this useless answer, but here it goes. Yes, according to what I've read it does matter with some vitamins. However, I don't remember the details. I can only suggest getting one of those huge nutritional books [removed]. The books usually talk about absorption, when to take, and what to mix together ( or not mix together) for optimal absorbsion. I vaguely recall something about vitamin a and e, but sorry I can't remember the details.
