Need Advice on Taking Vitamins While Sick...

Hi everyone,

I've been suffering from acute bronchitis for three weeks. Well, first it was a cold, then diagnosed as a sinus infection, then diagnosed as acute bronchitis. I am on my second round of antibiotics for what the doc calls an "infection," (had a fever of 102 yesterday) and taking some strong cough medicine.

I am starting to feel a little better finally, still phlegm-y and coughing although not as much.

I am wondering what are the best vitamins to take? I'd prefer taking something I already have in the medicine cabinet.

I have Centrum, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E. Would taking a Centrum along with 500 mg of Vitamin C and 200 IU Vitamin E help me heal any faster? The Centrum has a small amount of C and only 30 IU of E.

Thanks!
