| | Zinc and appetite
I have recently started taking a zinc supplement (with B6 and Magnesium included), to help with bad skin, dandruff, psoriasis and immune system as I have all those plus cold/flu. It supposedly helps for alot of other things I have problems with, such as low blood sugar, concentration, etc.
I've heard contradicting information about its effect on appetite though. Apparantly its used to increase appetite in those needing to gain weight, but other sites say it is used to regulate appetite and aid in weightloss.
I've had the sore stomach/nausea which is common with zinc sulfate, and I'm hoping that will go away, but I also have been eating more I think. I definitely don't need or want to gain weight, so I was wondering how I can tell if my hunger is real, or if its induced by the zinc??
