Hello everyone,
I have been hearing alot about tumeric & the benifits of taking it for inflammation, alzheimers & so on. Wondering if anyone has tried it & knows any additonal info. on it, such as interactions & so on. I have chronic pain & have a friend (older lady) with alzheimers. I spoke with a compound pharmacist about it awhile ago who highly recommended giving it a try.
The sales lady where I purchased it from said she has had customers with great results from taking it. I know its a spice but did not know it is actually an herb. The only thing I can find as far as side effects is it may cause some stomach upset. Yet it does mention checking with your health care provider if you are on existing meds, which I intend on doing.
I ask a couple pharmacists & they did not think it would really interfer with any meds & thought it to be safe enough. Just thought if anyone else has tried it. Thanks, Sammy
