| Re: Can Anyone Help Me With Magnesium Taurate?
magnesium glycinate is the easiest to absorb, but for depression--i take DLPA, tyrosine, rhodiola, samE and st johns wort--they work better than the ssri's i threw in the trash! for anxiety--the best thing is kava, also, valerian, gaba, passion flower, l-taurine, l-theanine, chamomile and melatonin for insomnia. the 3 best adaptogens--that help us cope with stress--are ginseng (i use the korean/asian panax), ashwagandha, and rhodiola. a complete free-form amino blend is best. our neurotransmitters are made from aminos--these are dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine etc... a really great book that i just bought about amino acids is "the healing nutrients within" by dr. eric braverman. it goes into detail about depression. you have to take a b-complex and multi-vit/min for the aminos to work right. it is also calming to take your magnesium and calcium at bedtime. hope this helps!
