Supplements and Herbs?

Hi,

I recently had my blood tested (a few times) and my doctor says that everything seems to be fine. Does this mean that a multi-vitamin/mineral supplement would be a waste of money or perhaps even a potential health hazard (due to absorbtion or overabundance)? If it wouldn't be harmful, then, are there any health benefits which can be reached even though the body isn't deficient?

Also, are herbs useful? I'm thinking of herbs which are similar to ginkgo, ginseng, and other so-called "brain-boosters". Do they work? I've heard conflicting research/info when it comes to these "brain-boosting" substances.

i take both ginko (helps blood flow) and ginseng (asian/korean panax). ginseng, rhodiola and ashwagandha are adaptogens that help us deal with stress. a multi-vit/min is always a good idea--it certainly won't harm you. are you having a specific problem?? if so, i can tell you what supps may help. anti-oxidants are very important to help prevent cancer, heart disease etc... garlic, coq10 are also important.
