Re: Has anyone heard of USANA vitamins
I think the best source of vitamins is healthy eating, especially fruits and vegetables that are not sprayed and meat, poultry, etc. that is raised without antibiotics, and no nitrates are used. Your best chance of finding these things is in a health food store.
If you feel you need a multi (probably most people do because of poor eating habits) I've often heard that food-based vitamins are very good.
I do take various vitamins and minerals but my selection is based on my symptoms and/or what shows up as problematic in blood panels. Personally, I think too many people take vitamins and such indiscriminately which, I believe, has the potential to weaken our system and its own innate ability to heal and be strong.
So if you're trying to decide which vitamins you may need I would get a blood panel, especially if you've never had one and also look at any particular problems that are in the fore. For instance, if you are feeling a great deal of fatigue you can do research and see what supplements are recommended for your symptoms. I prefer to use good quality supplements so, yes, fillers and such would indicate to me a less desirable product.
All the best,
