Re: Vit C

As far as I know, the upper recommended limit is of 2 grs a day for adult people.

From my own experience, it has improved my health alot. I take between 8-15 grams daily divided into 3 dosages.

Re: Vit C

I take very large doses of C with no problem. My body needs it. As far as the "itching" question, I have never heard of this being a problem nor have I ever experienced it.

Re: Vit C

Hi,
If you take a lot of vitamin c, it will definately affect your body because Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin and can not be excreted from the body.It is if taken in very large quantity even deposited on your teeth in from of black layer..

I feel this info. is incorrect. Vit. C is water soluble which means anything not needed will be excreted from the body in your urine. I take very large doses of C, as do a multitude of others I know who have Lyme Disease as it is part of our protocol. I have never, ever, heard of anyone developing black teeth nor have I ever read that this was a possibility.

Re: Vit C

Actually because vit C is water soluble means it IS expelled by the body easily. You cannot overdose because the kidneys will simply excrete excess.

Re: Vit C

From what I have learned, Vitamin C is a water soluable vitamin, and what the body does not use, it will excrete in the urine. It should be taken in doses throughout the day, not one large dose. Also, you should take vitamin C complex, which I have read is better.
