Smile The most neccessary vitamins & minerals for general good health.

As my money is very limited I would like to find out what are the most essential vitamins & minerals to take ?.

(I also have epilepsy).

Thanks Craig

The answer depends on individual circumstance. If you have a nutritious varied diet and do not have any problem absorbing needed vitamins and minerals from food, then it is likely that no supplements are needed.

But if you have been found to be deficient in something, then you may need to supplement that.

A daily multivitamin/mineral (either Centrum or the store brand generic), usualy one tab daily with food will provide 100% of the RDI for all vitamins and most minerals..... for between 5 and 10 cents a day.

Costco sell bottles of 500 for around 15 dollars ( 3 cents a day)

Tjlhb gave you good advice. First find out if you need supplementation and if so in what area are you deficient or needing a boost. Then you can target that/those areas. My doc does periodic lab tests on all my vitamin levels, perhaps yours could do the same as you're probably being followed for your epilepsy by someone.

Best,

Jen

From things that I have read:

Multivitamin

Fish Oil

Calcium

Probiotics

are the main ones.
