Question about a really good multivitamin?
I am a 44 year old female whom just started taking a really good multivitamin all natural from my health food center. You just take it once a day !
I have noticed I have become severely constipated.........could it be from this vitamin?
I don't need this for I do have IBS-C so this is defiantly not helping if this is the case.
Your feedback would be great........
Thanks you .....
PS. Natural with raw vegetables and etc in it............
I am one miserable girl..........taking a stool softener and not having any luck........

Re: Question about a really good multivitamin?
Definitely possible, and the most likely culprit is the iron, or possibly the iron and calcium together.
Try a no-iron multivitamin, and see if that helps. My mother has something like IBS-C and she's never been able to tolerate iron supplements.

Re: Question about a really good multivitamin?
I second the suggestion that the iron is mot likely the culprit. New Chapter makes a whole food multi, one with and one without, the iron.

Many health food stores and vitamin shops will let you return opened vitamins for a refund or exchange (as long as the bottle isn't empty!
) if it has caused problems.
