Hi there. First time poster. I had a few questions about my 3 year old son.
He had his blood levels tested back in september. His iron levels were 169. His ferritin was 14. Our dr had us change his diet (has gluten/yeast issues). Also was put on methyl b-12 shots. He had his blood levels taken a couple weeks ago and his iron is now 139 and his ferritin is 19. So improvement! Our appointment with the dr isn't till May (he's very popular and busy) so i was googling and read blackstrap mollasses is great for helping your body absorb iron. I'm not sure how much to give him though or how often. Anyone have any idea? I was thinking half a teaspoon every other day till will see the dr in may. My goal is to get his ferritin levels into the 30's. And hoping this will also stop some of his ADHD behaviors.
