Preference in Vitamin C?

Hey everyone,

I just had a quick question about vitamin C supplements and if there was a stand out brand to choose? I have heard of the companies Altrient-C, Emergen-C, and NOW C, but is there really any difference between them? I have done my own research on their websites and social media sites, but would like a second opinion for a health forum. Any advice?

Thanks,

TreyH

My doctor said take ester-c, absorbed differently and does not bother the stomach. Take care.

Re: Preference in Vitamin C?

I have yet to see an actual ingredient label for altrient C. Have you? If so, I would be interested in what it says; Otherwise, it reads like a good product.

Truly Natural Vitamin C is also highly rated. If you're a person whose tummy is easily upset or has loose stools with too much C, this product is a good choice as well as most buffered C's, with Advan C and Ester C also ranking high. So I would say, yes, there is a difference in Vitamin C's.

Re: Preference in Vitamin C?

To jenj770: The only thing I was able to find was on the box "A unique high-dose vitamin C nutritional supplement with an exceptional delivery system, Liposome Encapsulation Delivery (LED). It provides your body with what it wants, where it needs it most. 1,000 mg vitamin C. 1,000 mg Essential Phosopholipids. 0.2 fluid ounces (5.7mL)." It's not the actual label, but as close as I could get.

To everyone: Thanks for the advice, and I'll take it into consideration. You all were a big help!

Re: Preference in Vitamin C?

You could also check out LivOn Labs Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C. It has been around for awhile and I know many people who have used it happily. Price wise and such it seems very similar to altrient. The ingredient label is available for this C.
