L-Carnitine?

Does L-Carnitine help with weight loss? If so, how much should I take daily?

It helps with weight loss in the sense that when your are working out or exercising, but its not a magic pill or what not. I have taken Acetyl L-carnitine, which is a better form, and I *think* it helps a bit, but I mostly use to help with brain fog and focus- any benefit from weight loss/exercise is just a nice side affect
