Re: Supplementation Schedule (in relation to meals)
Generally, I would say check the bottle because different brands have different suggestions for use. That said:
-Fish oil - generally recommended to take with food in the AM
-Activated Charcoal with a meal, so you could choose, but AC absorbs drugs and supplements as well as heavy metals and such, so try to put a few hours between it and any drug or other supplement you take.
-Psyllium Husk - my bottle suggests doses AM and PM. Be sure to drink a full glass of H2O with each dose. Can be taken with or without food.
-Probiotics usually taken AM. Again, check the bottle. Mine is taken 20 min. before a meal and this is probably best for most probiotics as stomach acid from food could effect the benefits of the good' bacteria.
-Zinc - don't take with iron, calcium or other minerals as it could interfere with their absorption. Some people have stomach upset if not taken with a meal.
