Evening Primrose Oil

Has anyone here ever taken Evening Primrose Oil? I read an article about how it can be beneficial for PMS, headaches, bloating and other things. When I google it to find more information, I find just as many sites that say there are no know helpful benefits. Which is it, it helps or not?

Re: Evening Primrose Oil

I took EPO for awhile. When I first started taking it, I noticed I was calmer and my moods weren't "swinging so wildly". Then I didn't seem to notice it helping, so I quit taking it. I've thought about trying it again, but started taking Wellbutrin yesterday so I'm waiting to see if it helps me. I have perimenopause symptoms, anxiety, stress and no motivation. I think big part but not all of my symptoms are perimenopause related but not all of them. That's the reason I chose to try Wellbutrin.
I don't know anyone else who uses EPO. People think I am "different" because I am always trying out home remedies. But I would rather try those first before prescriptions. JMHO. If you are curious, I would say try it. I researched the internet before I did and found a lot of people using it. I bought mine online. If you go to online stores that sell it, normally there will be reviews from people who bought it. That helped me alot in making a decision to try it and also what brand to buy.
Best wishes♥Kit

I took EPO for over 3 years to help alleviate my breast tenderness. It has helped a great deal. I only took 500mg/day.
EPO and GLA are also blood thinners so I didn't want to take more and increase the monthly bleeding.
