I have recently been diagnosed with a zinc deficiency. I read that if I take zinc supplements I should also take copper. I am going to start taking 30 mgs of zinc picolinate which also contains 2mgs of copper and I also take a multivitamin which contains 7.5mgs of zinc and 2mgs of copper. I am experiencing a lot of symptoms of zinc deficiency including acne, oily skin, dandruff (scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes) and hair loss! I am losing hair from my scalp, eyebrows and eyelashes. I know that too much zinc and copper can also cause hair loss, so my question is, is what im taking too much or enough?? I know that too much copper can be toxic. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
