am i getting too much vitamin K & A - Overdose? Please answer

hello.

I'm a vegetarian and i take a multi vitamin daily that contains about 100% of the recommended daily amount for most vitamins. here are the values below of the vitamins that my question is regarding.

Vitamin A (retinyl acetate) 400ug (50% of the RDA

Vitamin K 1 75ug (100% RDA)

Iron 14mg (100% RDA)


OK lately I have started eating a lot of Kale and Spinach. I have read online that Kale and Spinach contains high levels of Vitamin K, A, and iron.

Ive been reading that high levels of these vitamins can cause liver damage among other health problems.

I'm worried that i am getting too much of the above vitamins

is this something i need to be worried about? I cant stop taking the multivitamin as i need most of the vitamins in them.

p.s. I'm female if that is relevant

RDA is a very low dosage and when it comes to K A and iron, the following are recommended by a top international nutritionist (not sure as a newbie if I'm allowed to give their name).


Vitamin K (aka phylloquinone) - toxicity not a concern
Vitamin A - ODA (optimum daily amount) 2,500 mcgRE
Iron - ODA 20mg - toxicity, none below 1000mg

so you are fine, the only concern I have is that RDA is known in nutritionists circles as a ridiculous dietary arbitrary. If you want the kind of levels that would make a difference, please PM me.
